It brought together both the farmers who produced wine in the Tuscan hills and the merchants who sold it within the city.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"5\">The Wines and the &#8220;Fiasco&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">The merchants sold high-quality wines that remain famous today, such as <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"72\">Chianti<\/b>, <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"81\">Trebbiano<\/b>, and <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"96\">Vin Santo<\/b>.
